Thermal Projects
1. The Company is developing a 3X660MW Supercritical (Clean Coal) Thermal Power Project in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.
2. The Company has signed an MOU on January 13th, 2009, with the Government of Gujarat, India, to develop a 3X660MW Supercritical (Clean Coal) power generation facility in the State.
Renewable Energy Projects
Canasia is developing a pipeline of 650MW of solar energy in India.
Canasia has secured a Letter of Support from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, to develop 500MW of grid-tied, back-up power, and stand alone 'distributed' solar power.
Canasia signed two MOUs in December, 2009, during the Ontario sponsered Clean Tech Mission with two Indian private companies to provide 150MW of Solar Systems.
